What if two Malawian creatives risked everything to start a magazine – And we documented it all?

Well, I’m producing a web series, and I need your help.

My name is Tapiwa. I’m a writer, a law graduate, and someone who has spent a long time waiting for permission.

But today I stop waiting.

I’m making a 5- episode web series called Kolcha. It is about a pair of young adults who secretly start a magazine while working at a dying newspaper. It’s a comedy. It’s a drama. It’s about being 25, feeling stuck, and deciding to TRY anyway.

Why am I asking for help:

I applied for a grant, and I haven’t heard back, so I am taking the funding into my own hands because I can’t keep waiting.

So, I’m crowdfunding $2,000 (MK3.4 million) to make it happen.
